Join us on Monday 10 November at Goldsmiths’ Hall, for an evening with Francesca Cartier Brickell, best-selling author of The Cartiers, for a close look at the extraordinary hidden history of Cartier London. After discovering a trunk of long-lost family letters, Francesca spent over a decade researching the illustrious firm her family founded.
In this talk she will reveal the fascinating world of the iconic New Bond Street branch and its unrivalled workshop, drawing from conversations with her grandfather, Jean-Jacques Cartier, who ran the London branch for several decades. She will also explore the human tales behind some of the spectacular pieces that feature in the current V&A Cartier exhibition (which runs until November).
Tickets are priced at £15 per person and include light refreshments at a drinks reception following the lecture.
Doors will open at 6:00pm for a prompt 6:30pm start
