New acquisitions from Goldsmiths' Fair 2019 announced
Every year at Goldsmiths' Fair the Goldsmiths' Company (through Dr Dora Thornton, Curator of the Goldsmiths' Company Collection and the Contemporary Craft Committee) selects outstanding pieces to add to the Goldsmiths' Company Collection.
Dr Dora Thornton, Curator of the Goldsmiths' Company Collection introduces us to the work of six makers, both young and established—who are new to the Collection.
These include: Samuel Waterhouse, Emmeline Hastings, Joanne Thompson, Louise O’Neill, Maya Selway and Mark Nuell.
All the pieces that have been acquired will be worn and displayed, as well as being used to teach new generations of makers.
