Applications for SIGA 2018 Now Open
The Studio Internship Graduate Award is a Goldsmiths’ Company award open to two graduates (within 5 years of graduation), helping to support the next generation of silversmiths.
The award offers the opportunity to train with the country’s leading silversmiths for 16 weeks (which can be undertaken on a part time basis) before creating an exhibition of work at the Goldsmiths’ Centre. On completion, a certificate will be awarded at a special ceremony at Goldsmiths’ Hall.
Funding for each graduate includes:
- A maintenance living grant of £210 per week for a total of 16 weeks.
- A bullion grant of £1,000 - £400 for practice pieces and £600 to create work for the exhibition.

To apply, complete a personal statement of no more than 500 words explaining why you would like to be a studio artist silversmith, together with your portfolio, sketchbooks and one example of your work.
