City of London Sheriffs visit Goldsmiths' Hall

Two Sheriffs of the City of London called at the front door of Goldsmiths’ Hall this morning as they were doing their annual tour of Livery Halls to raise money for their charity fund.

The Sherriffs arrived on horseback in full regalia, accompanied by members of the Honourable Artillery Company’s Light Cavalry and a couple of mounted police.

The Clerk, Sir David Reddaway and the Prime Warden, Mr Michael Wainwright, offered them a drink by way of hospitality. The Prime Warden presented an envelope containing a contribution to the charity.
