Printed Books
The Library contains over 7,500 printed books
on the subjects of silver, jewellery, assaying and hallmarking, regalia,
and allied subjects relating to the precious metals - gold, silver
and platinum.

Most
of the books were published after 1950 and centre on Europe
and North America.
All the bookstock acquired since 1995 is entered on a computer
database which can be searched by staff. Retrospective cataloguing
is continuing of material obtained before 1995.

fax, post or email. Prospective readers should initially establish
whether the bookstock will be of help in their work. |
