Support for Postgraduates

We offer support to new graduates of Jewellery, Silversmithing and Allied Trades degree courses through our programme of continuing professional development, specialist training sessions, technical publications and events. The Goldsmiths’ Company Library also offers an extensive collection of jewellery books, design collections and access to the latest editions of national and international trade magazines for free.

Post-graduate Professional Design Programme

Post-Graduate Professional Design CourseThe Post-Graduate Profesional Design programme will be a year-long full-time course for up to 8 recent graduates which will take place from November 2011 at the new state-of-the-art Goldsmiths' Centre in Clerkenwell.

Through a mixture of practical design sessions, discussion and presentations, this programme will educate, inspire and develop a new generation of design-led creative businesses that can exploit the opportunities presented by a fast-moving global marketplace. New Designers

Every year, the Goldsmiths' Company financially sponsors the Metalwork & Jewellery Zone at the New Designers Exhibition in Islington, London.

It also provides bursaries to colleges that provide degree level training in precious metalwork to exhibit there.
