Inspiration for my current range of jewellery comes from a love of nature; of plants, seed pods, leaves and flowers. I work primarily in silver, often with different gauges of wire. I create soldered linear structures that have a bold, tactile quality; forms which respond to the movement of the body and the interplay of light.

Gemstones (both cabochons and beads) often feature in my work and I also incorporate oxidised (blackened) silver into some pieces. This oxidised finish gives a beautiful contrasting surface to the metal.

Each piece of jewellery is hand made using traditional workshop skills. I strive to create striking yet elegant pieces of jewellery, which are not only comfortable to wear but have a strong contemporary feel.

As well as running my jewellery studio, I have worked as a designer in the jewellery industry in both London and Birmingham. I also spent many years as an art college lecturer teaching workshops in model making.
