I have over 25 years experience in designing and making jewellery, both as one-off pieces and for mass production. I trained at the Sir John Cass College, London and now specialize in producing timeless jewellery in gold, diamonds, precious stones and pearls. I like ornamental jewellery that flatters the wearer, emphasizing their feeling of self, and acting as symbols of their beliefs, both cultural and spiritual. My work is design led, influenced by the natural environment around me. I have been fortunate to have lived in various beautiful and diverse countries. These experiences have accumulated, and the result is evident in my present range. I tend to use flowing lines and organic forms, which, to my mind, suit the rounded, three-dimensional human form, as opposed to more structured architectural shapes. I am fascinated by different textures and love the contrast produced by combining high polish and texture on gold.
