Alison Bradley trained at the Central School of Art and Design and The Royal College of Art. She is both a designer and maker of jewellery and is a Freeman of the Goldsmiths' Company. From her London studio she works to commission and also offers items from her stock. As well as numerous personal commissions her work has been recognised by the National Museum of Scotland, Goldsmiths' Hall, De Beers, The World Gold Council, Aspreys and Liberty's, all of whom have commissioned her designs. Her aim is to design jewellery which fits a client's personality, so that it can be worn with confidence. She works principally with 18 carat gold, diamonds, multi-coloured gemstones and pearls and is best known for her rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, pendants and cufflinks. Her commissioned pieces are made in consultation with clients at each stage of the process, whether it be discussing designs, choosing stones or deciding on settings. She is happy to use clients' own gemstones or redesign existing jewellery to create a more wearable piece. Through careful sourcing and cost control Alison is able to offer from stock, hand finished exclusively designed pieces at prices ranging from one thousand pounds to fifteen. Visitors are always welcome by appointment at her workshop (tel. 020 8740 5870).
