Loan Policy


Loans requests must be in writing to The Curator prior to permission being given by the Wardens of the Company and must be in agreement with the conditions set down by the Company ie:
  1. Insurance cover to be the responsibility of the borrower in the form of 'nail to nail' for current replacement value against loss and damage, to include terrorist cover
  2. .

  3. Professional packers must be employed, with agreed condition reports, objects to be accompanied in transit by curatorial staff or elected representatives
  4. .

  5. The objects to be placed in a locked alarmed strongroom, post and prior to exhibition
  6. .

  7. Objects to be placed in locked alarmed showcases with correct humidity, temperature and environmental controls
  8. .

  9. Any reproduction of the object in any medium must have permission of the Company
  10. .

  11. Designation of ownership must be acknowledged as 'Collections: The Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths'.
